How to Link Property / Building in K-SMART

To pay building property tax and access other services through K-SMART, you may need to link your house or establishment to your citizen profile. Follow the step-by-step guide below.

Steps to Link Your Property / Building

Log in to Your Citizen Account

Open the official K-SMART portal and log in using your registered mobile number and OTP. You may also use the K-SMART mobile app.

Select Property Tax / Revenue

After logging in, look for the Property Tax / Revenue or Building section among the services available on your dashboard.

Select Link Existing Property

Select Link Existing Property or Add Building / Assessment, depending on the options displayed in the portal. The labels may vary between portal versions.

Enter Your Building Details

Select the relevant Local Self Government Institution. Enter the old or current Assessment Number of your building in the required field.

You may find the assessment number on your property tax receipt or related building records.

Verify the Details and Submit

Check the owner's name, building number and other property details displayed on the screen. If the information is correct, click Link Property or Submit, as applicable.

Enter the correct assessment number and ownership details.
Verify the displayed property information before submitting.
If additional verification or approval by the authorities is required, wait until the process is completed.
If you face difficulties linking the building, contact the concerned Grama Panchayat office.
Never share your OTP or other confidential information.
